Granada is simply magical

Our recommendations

Alhambra

One of Spain’s top landmarks stands right here in Granada, just X metres from Suites Gran Via 44 Granada. The Alhambra has its origins in an Arabic word meaning ‘red or vermilion castle’. The complex was formed by an alcazaba (fortress), an alcázar (palace) and a small medina (walled city), all at the same time. If you want to explore this truly magical landmark, you can visit the Alhambra as a group or privately. Flamenco events are also held on the site and open to the public. 100% recommended.

Albaicín

This quintessential Granada neighbourhood is found just X metres from Suites Gran Via 44, standing at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level. It’s one of the major centres of Moorish Granada, along with the Alhambra, the Realejo and the Bibarrambla district in the city centre. We recommend a whole morning strolling around the streets of the Albaicín until you reach the viewpoint, popular with traditional flamenco singers and where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Alhambra.
